After realizing that multiple new drivers in this family would require a number of additional vehicles a safe and visually pleasing aggregate parking area was incorporated into the existing landscape with minimal intrusion. By only removing grass and adding buffering plant material to the existing landscape an environmentally friendly approach was used. Groundwater recharge is possible through the porous material used as the top layer after adding a compacted crush base. The top layer of Crimson Stone aggregate also mimics the color of the brick home to add cohesiveness to the space. The back yard patio that overlooks the lake sports custom container gardens with contrasting foliage to complement the furniture and invoke an invitation to sit for a while and enjoy the view while visiting with friends.
